I am finally finished with the kitchen table and chair redo. We bought this table 9 years ago at a dent and damage sale. It was stained mahogany. The chairs were purchased at an unfinished wood furniture store and I originally stained them to match the table. Here is a picture of them in a previous home in Tennessee.
Then a couple of years ago I painted the chairs black and the table yellow.
Loved the yellow, but it blended into the yellow walls too much. So I painted the table black.
The black was nice, but I really wanted to lighten up this area of my home. Even though it has a lot of windows, it faces north west and does not get a lot of light during the day.
So here is the newly painted, stenciled, distressed and glazed table and chairs today.
Now for the GIVEAWAY - See the pretty crystal pear shaped honey jar below? See the pretty glass honey DIPPER
Here is a close up of the glass honey dipper.
The honey dipper was made by artists who live in Tennessee. They have an ETSY site, here. I have TWO of these pretty hand made glass honey dippers (just the dipper, not the jar) to give away.
Just leave a comment on this post to be entered. I will pick two winners via Random.org on Saturday.
Welcome Home,
Penny
