Versailles

Not too far out of Paris is the Palace of Versailles.  It is amazing Palace commissioned to be built by Louis XIV.  We probably know it more because of Louis the Sixteenth and Marie AntoinetteA great movie to watch about Marie Antoinette is this one.

The day we visited it was packed!  It was really hard to see anything without a crowd of 100's in each room of the Palace.  We were there at the end of March, which is not even season.

A close up of a ceiling.

The Famous Hall of Mirrors.

Look closely at the picture below.  Taken in the Hall of Mirrors.  See the couple in the mirror in the center?  That is Mr. Comforts of Home and Me...

This is Marie Antoinette's room....

Ok, let's leave the crowds of Paris behind.  Next we are heading to the French countryside.

Welcome Home,
Penny
