Maybe most of the time spent in your bedroom is with your eyes closed, but it sure is nice opening them to a beautiful view! The coolest part about the bedrooms below is that they are all from real homes!
I love the chandelier over the bed, I want to know though, how often people actually use them...do they make good bedroom light?
This is so pretty, but I don't think boyfriend would go for the fuchsia...

A small and recently renovated starter home with loads of chic
Keeping the walls monochrome adds airiness to the home, therefore making the space feel larger.
I love the mix of pattern between the rug and the curtains.
If you look carefully in the picture above, behind the mirror there is a bump in the wall that they couldn't alter during the renovation. So to distract from it they covered it with an interesting mirror and light fixture.
Two task lights substitute for an oven hood light. I haven't decided how I feel about this yet. You?
I think I've shown this bedroom before. But I absolutely love it! The yellow coverlet with the gray walls is unexpected but still elegant.
Since the bathroom is small, the owners weren't afraid to go bold and cheery with a lemon yellow wall paint.

A chic and stunning Manhattan apartment
It's hard for black and white to not look chic....
One day I will have a huge gorgeous mirror in my entry way like this.
This room is a nice reading refuge from the dark walls used in the master bedroom.
What do you think?

My most recent obsession: beautiful bedrooms!
you had me at coffee in bed...
gorgeous color scheme
I love the above bedroom - it's beautiful and considered, but still so liveable. Whatever this style is called- I'd say it's mine.
simple and classic beauty
beach cottage beauty
amazing wall treatment
This bedroom started with the headboard and grew around it.

Unique but beautiful bedrooms
I'm off to Portugal for a long weekend so I won't be back until Tuesday, but I leave you with some great eye candy. Have a great weekend everyone!

Dreamy bedrooms for all tastes
I'm not gonna lie. I'm no early bird. At my most shameful I wake up at 11 AM and don't shut my laptop until 1 AM. While I still easily put in an 8 hour day, I still feel guilty sleeping so late. Enough of my venting - long story short, I love a well designed bedroom. Here are a handful that caught my eye.
I don't remember where this photo is from but isn't it beautiful! I love mix and match bedding
This modern isn't usually my taste - but this room is so clean and spotless I think I'd have no problem resting in it!
I really like the eclectic look. You can mix patterns providing they share a palette.

What do you think of this wallpaper? The headboard and bedskirt match. Could you live with it? I like the bedroom arrangement but I'd have to REAAAAALLLLYYY love the pattern.

An industrial and modern bedroom. If I remember correctly - this is actually from a boat house!

Bedrooms that make you want to cozy down for autumn
I love autumn! The fresh smell of the air and chunky knit sweaters. It means airing out the quilts from storage and putting away the grill. The days are shorter and less daylight means more time indoors. So don't neglect your home and start planning how you'll transition your house this fall. One easy and relatively inexpensive way is to change out bedding and/or curtains. Hopefully these bedrooms will inspire you...
The autumn leaf red coverlet keeps the furniture from being absorbed in to the dark walls

The dark wine walls and texture from the hopefully faux fur blanket say "warmth"
