The Last Tomato Of The Season

Today, we ate the last tomato of the season from our vine.  It was just as good as the first tomato of the season.

I made BLT's for lunch with the tomato.

I won't have another BLT until next summer.

By the way.  The bread for the sandwich was homemade by me.  If you want to learn how to make the tastiest, easiest, no knead, one pot bread ever, check out my From Harvest To Table blog.

This is not the bread made in a cast enamel pot.  This is 4 simple ingredients stirred into a non-stick pot.  Then the pot is put in the refrigerator over night, popped into the oven the next morning, baked, popped out of the pot and cooled.  Simple.  Easy. One pot. No knead.
